Katie & Josh had a beautiful destination wedding and we were so fortunate they chose Charleston!  With an intimate guest count of less than 50 people, they were able to celebrate with those who love them most.  They had their ceremony along the waterway of The Crossing, where their stunning photos were captured at the perfect time for sunset!  We wish them the happiest of luck for their future together!

Words from the bride:

“We had our ceremony and reception at Stono Ferry and it was absolutely wonderful. We had the ceremony overlooking the water, under trees- it was absolutely beautiful. We chose to have our reception at the clubhouse, which was plenty big for our wedding of just under 50 people. Everyone we encountered at Stono was very professional and our guest only had good things to say about both the venue and everyone who worked there.

Erica was wonderful to work with. We live in Kansas City and only had to visit Charleston once to pick the location. With her help, I was able to do everything else over the phone and email. She was very prompt with her responses back and really helped me visualize everything.

On the day of the wedding, we had Erica’s help with everything. We were able to drop off all of our decorations on Friday night at the rehearsal and Erica took care of everything from there. She also followed up with our vendors to make sure they knew where to go and what time they should be there. She made the day flawless and knowing she was handling everything, made me not stress at all.

I would highly recommend this location!”
